Idaho's Voice

Local musicians are coming together to create a new show called Idaho's Voice to inspire and give young musicians a chance to showcase their talent. But it's not just about the young musicians. It’s also about inspiring the local community and bringing hope through music. The vision for Idaho's Voice is that "When Words Fail, Music Speaks," and organizers hope the show will help Idahoans find their local voice through music.

"Idaho's Voice" is a dream that has yet to come to fruition. Still, the organizers are excited to announce it and invite people to submit their materials to be included in the Oasis 88 Music Festival at the Oasis Event Center on June 2-3. The show is not a competition but an opportunity for local youth to perform on stage with Idaho musicians and be inspired by them.

Music can unite people and inspire hope in a world where feeling disconnected is easy. Many people have struggled to find their place in the world or feel like they've lost their voice, but music has the power to bring them back to life. Through Idaho's Voice, organizers hope to harness this power and help the local community find its voice through music.

The show is not just about the performers on stage - it's also about the audience. It's about inspiring hope and bringing people together through music. Through Idaho's Voice, organizers hope to create a sense of community and belonging that extends beyond the show itself.

The first edition of Idaho’s Voice, will have a country theme, focusing on the storytelling aspect of music. Music is more than just a form of entertainment - it has the power to tell a story, evoke emotions, and express feelings that words alone cannot . The strength of country music is its ability to take us on a journey, to experience the places and emotions that the song and the musicians are trying to convey.

Country music has always been healing, a balm for the soul in troubled times. It has a way of reaching deep inside us and touching our emotions in a way that nothing else can. It's not afraid to tackle difficult subjects and address the emotions that we all feel – but we don’t always know how to express. Country music can remind us of the good in the world, even when things seem bleak. It can put our emotions into words that we can't find ourselves. It can take us to a space where we can find a song to remind us that we're not alone, to remind us that it’s fine to have questions, and ultimately, to remind us what’s important.

If you are a young musician and would like to be part of Idaho's Voice, this is your chance to make a difference in the world.  By sharing your story through music, maybe even the first time in public, you can help create a community of hope and inspiration that extends far beyond the music festival.

So come and join us for the first Idaho's Voice and let's find our voice through music.
